Ram Navami 2023 Vrat Paran Vidhi and Muhurat: On Thursday, March 30, 2023, the festival of Ram Navami is being celebrated with pomp across the country. It is believed that Lord Rama was born on the Navami Tithi of Chaitra Shukla Paksha and hence people celebrate this day as the birth anniversary of Lord Rama. Pujas are performed on this day and special tableaux and processions are also taken out. 

Importance of Ram Navami

There is amazing power in the name of Ram. It is believed that merely remembering the name of Ram is like chanting thousands of deities. Not only this, those who chant the name of Ram get salvation. In such a situation, the day of Ram Navami is the day of birth anniversary of Ram Lala, therefore it is a special day. On this day the importance of worshiping Lord Rama and keeping fast increases manifold and bad deeds are removed. All wishes are fulfilled by worshiping Lord Rama with devotion. At the same time, many auspicious yogas have also been made on Ram Navami this year, in which worship and fasting are very fruitful.

Ram Navami Vrat-Paran Muhurt

On the day of Ram Navami, devotees keep a fast from sunrise to sunset i.e. eight hours. People keep fast for the whole day and break the fast in the evening, whereas some people break the fast the next day. But let us know what is the right time to break the fast of Ram Navami. Because the fast is completed and successful only if it is done in the right way and at the right time.

The festival of Ram Navami is being celebrated on 30 March 2023. The fast will be celebrated on the next day of Ram Navami i.e. 31st March. Paran can be done on March 31, 2023 till 01:57 on Dashami Tithi of Chaitra Shukla Paksha. You can also eat normal food after breaking the fast. But never eat tamasik or garlic-onion food to break the fast. It would be best if you break the fast only with the offerings of worship.
