Kandi dal – half a cup

Cumin – 1 tsp

Minapappu – 1 tsp

Black pepper – 4

Garlic cloves – 4

Onion – 1 big

Curry – 1 Rebba

Coriander – 1 tsp

Tomato – 1

Tamarind – 10 grams

Ghee – 3 tbsp

Salt – enough to taste 

For seasoning.. 

Mustard – half tsp

Minapup – 1 tsp

Cumin – 1 tbsp

Curry – 1 stick

Oil – 1 tsp


Grate onion pieces and tomato pieces and keep aside. Remove the garlic cloves and prepare. First light the stove and place the kadai on it. Add some oil in it.. Let it heat. Add kandi to it and fry it. Once they are cooked a bit, add black pepper. After they are cooked a little, add mincemeat, curry leaves, cumin seeds and garlic to it and fry it. If they are roasted well, a good aroma will come from it. Let the roasted dal cool down. Now take it in a mixing jar.. it should be powdered. Keep it aside. 

Now light the stove and fry the onion slices in it. You can apply some oil. After the onions are fried, add the tomato pieces and fry them. Add tamarind after the tomatoes are cooked. Cool them down and add them to the mixer. Add the prepared kandi powder to it and mix again. But now it should be chopped and oiled for sealing. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, groundnuts, groundnuts, and curry leaves and fry them. 

Add this talimpu to kandipachadi and mix well. Fry groundnuts and groundnuts in a pan and fry them till they become crispy. It is best eaten with hot rice. Its taste is in the range that there is nothing better than Kandipachadi in taste. You can also put it in doshas and idlis and drag it comfortably. This green should not be very soft.. should be hard. Only then you will be able to enjoy its taste.
