The American Heart Association has declared that this advanced fasting method can become a serious health hazard. It said that people who eat within eight hours have a 91 percent higher risk of dying from cardiovascular diseases than those who eat within 12 to 16 hours a day.

They found that those who ate between eight and 10 hours a day had a 66 percent higher risk of dying from cardiovascular disease in those with heart disease or stroke. Those suffering from cancer said that if they do not plan the food schedule that they eat for more than 16 hours a day, the risk of cancer death will be reduced.
