Party means chicken. Especially chicken biryani is a must have. Chicken biryani is in good demand not only among drug addicts, but also among non-addicts. But what if there is no chicken biryani during such a celebration? Hey, I want to order from a restaurant.. It is very difficult to get food delivered at this time. Ingredients required

Chicken – 400 grams

Yogurt – half a cup

Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp

Chili – 1 tsp

Yellow – half a tsp

Garam masala – 1 tsp

Biryani masala – 1 tbsp

Salt – enough to taste

Rice – one and half cup

Cloves – 3

Biryani leaf – 1

Cinnamon stick – 1 inch

Cardamoms – 2

Onions – half cup (chopped)

Oil – enough

Water – as required

Saffron – for garnish

Preparation Method

First wash the rice well.. soak it in water for half an hour. Drain the water and keep it aside. Take a bowl for marinating the chicken. Take chicken in it and wash it well. Add curd, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, biryani masala, garam masala, chilli and salt to the chicken and mix well. Keep it in the fridge for half an hour. By marinating like this, the spices will stick to the chicken and give it a good flavor. 

Now light the stove and take a kadai. Boil water in it and add soaked rice. Add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and some salt to it and mix well. After about 80 percent of the rice is cooked, stop the stove and pour the water. Now take a thick kadai and put the marinated chicken in it. Add chopped tomatoes, onion and coriander leaves on it. Then add 80 percent cooked rice as a layer. A little oil or ghee can be applied on top.

Fragrant, seasoned saffron water can be added. It helps in giving you good color and taste. Cover the kadai.. cook it in sim for 20 minutes. Place some weight on the lid to prevent the steam from escaping. After 20 minutes you can enjoy piping hot chicken biryani. It can be pulled not only with curry but also normally. It also tastes good with raita.
