UPPSC Recruitment 2023: Recruitment for 300 posts of APS from second week of September

UPPSC Recruitment 2023: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission released the schedule of two major recruitments Additional Private Secretary (APS) Exam 2023 and Review Officer (RO) / Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Exam 2023 on Friday. After ten years, applications will be taken for about 300 posts of APS from the second week of September. Whereas after 2021, applications will start from the first week of October for the recruitment of 181 posts of RO / ARO.

APS recruitment was delayed due to non-revision of rules. In the amended Private Secretary Service Rules-2023, the dispute of equivalent qualification has been resolved. Considering the post of APS as Group ‘B’ gazetted, the requirement of triplex computer certificate from NIELIT has been kept. Advertisement for Combined State Agricultural Service Examination 2023 will also come soon. Earlier, recruitment had come in 2020 for 564 posts of Agriculture Service.

Get OTR done before the application starts
UPPSC has once again made it clear that OTR (One Time Registration – Single Opportunity Registration) is mandatory for applying for any post. Undersecretary Dharmendra Kumar Tripathi has advised the candidates to complete the OTR process on the website www.otr.pariksha.nic.in before the release of the advertisement for the said posts. So that there is no difficulty in applying online after the release of advertisement. Failure to apply online due to non-receipt of OTR number will be the sole responsibility of the candidate.

Hundreds of candidates became overage in the delay of a decade
Due to non-advertisement of APS recruitment for a decade, hundreds of candidates have become overage. According to the candidates, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission kept getting requisitions from the government every year. Still, for the last ten years, recruitment was not done on some pretext or the other, as a result of which hundreds of candidates preparing for APS became overage. Chandan Nishad, Umesh Chandra Pandey, Jagdish Gupta, Rajkumar Prajapati, Brahm Kumar Pandey, Ajay Shukla, Aditya Tiwari, Rajesh Singh, Raghavendra Mishra, Ashok Patel and Rammurat Vishwakarma, who have been overage, have requested the commission to give them an opportunity in new recruitment.
