UPPSC PCS 2024: UP PCS recruitment advertisement soon, Commission said – candidates should complete this work first

UPPSC PCS 2024 Notification: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is soon preparing to release the advertisement of Combined State/Higher Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2024 as well as Lecturer Government Degree College etc. examination. According to Under Secretary Dharmendra Kumar Tripathi, it is mandatory to obtain One Time Registration (OTR) to apply for these recruitment examinations. Most of the competitive students apply for these examinations. Therefore, get the OTR number before the advertisement so that you do not have to face the problem of server down or excessive traffic on the website at the last moment. Applications will not be possible without filling OTR. The Commission has advised the candidates to obtain the OTR number by filling the OTR before the release of the advertisement.

PCS Mains result declared, 451 will give interview

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission declared the result of the Combined State / Senior Subordinate Services (PCS) 2023 main examination on Friday. A total of 3658 candidates appeared in the main examination held in Prayagraj and Lucknow from 26 to 29 September. Out of total 254 vacancies available for 20 types of posts in PCS 2023, selection on 150 vacancies is to be done on the basis of written examination and interview. According to Commission Secretary Ashok Kumar, 451 candidates have been declared successful for the interview against these 150 posts.

There are 104 posts of six types, on which selection is to be done only on the basis of written examination. The result of such posts will be declared along with the final selection result. The preliminary examination for PCS was conducted on 14 May. Out of 565459 candidates who applied, 345022 appeared in the preliminary examination. The Commission had released the result of the preliminary examination within one and a half months. After completing the interview process, the final selection result is set to be declared within nine months before 14th February.

Selection canceled after six and a half months

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has canceled the selection of Neeta Jain, who was selected in the result declared on May 30, as the spokesperson for Community Medicine for Government Homeopathic Medical Colleges under the Department of AYUSH (Homeopathy). Vishnu Sharma's name has been recommended in his place from the consolidated merit list.
