UPPSC LT Grade Teacher: After the general elections, government high schools and inter colleges will get 435 teachers. After verification of records, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has sent the names of 402 assistant teachers and 33 lecturers to the Secondary Education Department in the Directorate of Education. After June 4, these selected teachers will be deployed by taking the option of online schools. Advertisement was issued on 15 March 2018 for recruitment to 10768 vacant posts of Assistant Teacher (Graduate Pay Scale or LT Grade) in government schools. On the demand of the candidates, the Commission selected 968 candidates from the waiting list last year. All of them were called for record verification. More than half of the candidates were eliminated during record verification and only 402 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the post of Assistant Teacher. Similarly, the Commission has also recommended posting to 33 candidates selected from the waiting list of Spokesperson Recruitment 2020.

Demonstration of candidates outside the Commission:

The candidates who have passed the combined session of National Eligibility Test in June and December 2022 and UGC NET in June-December 2023 have demanded from UPPSC to give them the opportunity for recruitment to 1017 posts of Assistant Professor in non-government aided colleges under Advertisement No. 51. These candidates demonstrated outside the newly formed Uttar Pradesh Education Service Commission in Ellenganj on Tuesday and demanded an opportunity to apply.

Candidates Pawan Yadav, Ashish Singh, Aditya Singh, Jaikishan Singh, Amit Patel, Sandeep Verma, Anubhav Upadhyay, Kartike Tripathi, Krishna Singh and Raj Shukla say that due to Corona, various teaching and examination sessions could not be conducted on time. As a result, many candidates, even after preparing for the NET exam, were not able to achieve the desired qualification for Assistant Professor recruitment due to the exam not being conducted on time. Various commissions have provided applications and various other opportunities to the students affected by Corona. Therefore, it is requested that in the interest of the students, please reopen the application portal of advertisement number 51 for a week. Otherwise, you will be forced to approach the court.
