UPSRTC UP Roadways Vacancy: This year the box of recruitments will open in UP Roadways. More than 3000 posts lying vacant for years will be filled. For recruitment to all the posts, permission has been obtained by correspondence from the government level. Both contractual and regular applicants will get a chance in this recruitment process. A tender has been issued for the recruitment of bus conductors on contract basis, and the Commission will soon issue an advertisement for recruitment to some posts. Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation is going to fill the vacant posts in bus workshops after three decades. In these, people from IT sector including body mechanic, painter and technical engineer will get opportunity.
At the same time, an assurance has been given to fill the posts of dependents of the deceased lying vacant since 2018 within three months. Apart from this, recruitment will be done by the Commission to fill the vacant posts of officers.
Recruitment will be done on these vacant posts
– Tender issued for recruitment of 1600 contract bus conductors in six areas including Lucknow.
– Preparation to recruit 988 deceased dependents lying vacant for last five years in three months
– Advertisement for recruitment of personnel on 547 posts in Roadways Workshop this month.
– Recruitment commission will be done for 93 posts of Assistant Regional Manager and other officers.
Government asked for details of reservation in recruitment
The government has sought details of the status of reservation in the recruitment in the Transport Corporation. In this regard, the Principal Manager Personnel, citing the government's letter, has asked for the status of recruitment to be held in the areas on December 21.
20 percent women drivers will be recruited
A decision has been taken to recruit 20 percent women in the recruitment of bus drivers across the state. In this regard, the MD has given instructions to implement women reservation in the recruitment of bus drivers going on in all the regional manager offices. Let us tell you that till now more than 50 contract women drivers are deployed in the roadways. Many of these women are driving the buses.
Recruitment of contract drivers starts in regional offices
Recruitment of contract drivers in roadways has been opened. This recruitment will be done at 20 regional offices across the state. Where those who fulfill the conditions will be able to submit their applications. If selected, training will be given in Kanpur. From here, orders for deployment of drivers in the areas will be issued.
