UP Police SI Vacancy 2023: After constable, the wait for notification of UP Police SI ASI Recruitment 2023 is also over. Uttar Pradesh Police Police Recruitment and Promotion Board on Thursday evening announced direct recruitment for the posts of Sub Inspector of Police (Confidential), Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Clerk) and Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Accounts) for a total of 921 posts of 2023 (UP Police SI ASI Vacancy 2023). Released notification for recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply from January 7 by visiting the board's website uppbpb.gov.in. The last date for online application is 28 January 2024. The last date for depositing fees and making corrections in the form is 30 January 2024. This recruitment of SI has come out after two years. Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB or UPPBPB) had released 9534 vacancies of Sub-Inspector (SI) in UP Police.

1. In total 921 vacancies, there are 268 posts of UP Police SI (Confidential), 449 posts of ASI Clerk, 204 posts of ASI Accountant. There are 114 unreserved posts in SI (Confidential). 25 posts are reserved for EWS, 71 OBC, 54 SC and 4 posts are reserved for ST category.
2. Qualification – Qualification for SI (Confidential) posts – Graduation in any subject
Typing ability is also necessary
– Hindi typing (in Inscript keyboard Unicode) at a speed of at least 25 words per minute and English typing at a speed of at least 30 words per minute.
– Hindi stenographic dictation at minimum speed of 80 words per minute.
– O Level Computer Course Certificate from NIELIT (formerly DOEC) or equivalent qualification required.
Eligibility for ASI Clerk Post – Graduation in any discipline.
– Hindi typing (in Inscript keyboard Unicode) at a speed of at least 25 words per minute and English typing at a speed of at least 30 words per minute.
– O Level Computer Course Certificate from NIELIT (formerly DOEC) or equivalent qualification required.
Eligibility for ASI Accountant Post – Graduation in any discipline.
– Hindi typing (in Inscript keyboard Unicode) at a speed of at least 15 words per minute.
– O Level Computer Course Certificate from NIELIT (formerly DOEC) or equivalent qualification required.
3. Age Limit – 21 to 28 years. Age will be calculated from 1st July 2023.
SC, ST, OBC categories of Uttar Pradesh will be given age relaxation of 5 years each.
4. Pay scale –
SI – 9300- 34800 and Grade Pay – Rs 4200 Level 6 35400- 112400
ASI Clerk – 5200 20200 and Grade Pay 2800 Level-5, 29200 – 92300
ASI Accountant – 5200 20200 and Grade Pay 2800 Level-5, 29200 – 92300
5. Height related qualifications
Height
For General, OBC and SC categories – at least 163 cm
For ST category – 156 cms

For General, OBC and SC categories – 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm after expansion
For ST category – 75 cm without expansion and 80 cm after expansion
Keep in mind that at least 5 cm chest expansion is mandatory.
For ladies
Height
For General, OBC and SC categories – at least 150 cm
For ST category – 145 cms
Weight
Minimum 40 Kgs for all female candidates
6. How will the selection be done?
Written Test, Document Verification, Physical Standard Test, Computer Typing and Stenography Test. It will be necessary to pass only the computer typing and shorthand test. The final merit will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination.
The written examination will be of 400 marks. In this, 100 marks will be asked from General Hindi Computer Knowledge, 100 marks from General Knowledge and Current Affairs, 100 marks from Numerical and Mental Ability test and 100 marks from Mental Aptitude/Logical Test/IQ test. There will be a two and a half hour exam in which a total of 400 questions will be asked.
Those who qualify the written examination will be called for shorthand examination which will be qualifying in nature.

9. Interested candidates will be able to apply by visiting uppbpb.gov.in. Keep in mind the rules of photo and signature for application.

Your photo and signature will have to be uploaded separately in the application form. Size of color photo should be between 20 KB to 50 KB, size should be 35 mm (1.4 inches) * 45 mm (1.75 inches). The face should occupy 70 percent of the photo. The photo should not be more than six months old. There should be white and light colored background. Eyes should be clearly visible while wearing glasses. The glass should not be colored. Cap and muffler should not have photographs.

The size of the signature photo will be from 5 KB to 20 KB. Make this complete signature in black ink on a 3.5 cm wide and 1.5 cm long piece of paper, scan it and upload it in JPEG, JPG, JPE format.
10. Understand the complications of DigiLocker before applying.
This time the initial verification of documents will be done through DigiLocker. While filling the form, candidates will have to scan and upload only those documents which are not available on DigiLocker. Many documents including educational ones are already uploaded on DigiLocker. Candidates who do not have a login password on DigiLocker should create it. Candidates will have to upload the documents like educational, reservation related, age relaxation related and all other certificates attached with their application form, which are available on DigiLocker, through DigiLocker only. Scan and upload the documents which are not on DigiLocker. By doing this, the UP Police form will be linked to your DigiLocker account.
