UP Police SI Bharti 2023: The box of UP Police 62000 recruitment has opened and recruitments have started coming out one after the other. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board on Tuesday released the recruitment notification for the posts of Sub Inspector in UP Police. This recruitment will be from sports quota. Applications have been invited from skilled, talented and special achievers. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for this recruitment by visiting uppbpb.gov.in till 9 January 2024. The last date for submission of application fee is 11 January 2023. Earlier, recruitment of constable was done from sports quota, the application process of which is going on from December 14 and will continue till January 1, 2024.

Water Sports, Volleyball, Basket Ball, Kabaddi, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Hockey, Archery, Gymnastics, Weightlifting, Wushu, Judo, Boxing, Athletics, Swimming, Taekwondo, Shooting, Wrestling, Swimming, Karate etc.
Selected candidates will get pay scale of Rs 5200-20200 and grade pay Rs 2000.
Applicants must be graduate from any stream. Selection will be done on the basis of their skills in the game and evaluation of the certificates obtained in the game.

Candidates age should not be at least 21 years and not more than 27 years.
Selection – Documents and sports certificates will be scrutinized. Then there will be an efficiency test of the respective game. There will be a sports skill test of 80 marks and 20 marks will be given for sports certificates.
Now normalization in UP police recruitment
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced to implement the normalization system in the upcoming recruitment examinations. The selection process in UP Police Recruitment will be conducted in two or more shifts. After this examination, marking will be done according to normalization formula. Different paper sets will be used in different shifts. In this, fixed marks will be prepared on the basis of questions given in different sets.
UP Police Recruitment 2023: Process to fill 62000 vacancies started
The process of filling 62000 posts in UP Police has started. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has announced the date of examination for the recruitment of Assistant Operator, Head Operator and Workshop Staff. UP Police Recruitment Board has issued a notice saying that the online written examination (CBT) for recruitment to these posts will be conducted in the last week of January 2024. Notification of 52000 constable recruitment is expected to be released at the end of this month. Recruitment of constable and SI from sports quota has been done, applications are being taken.

Apart from this, the UP Police Recruitment Board has given employment to the dependents of the deceased police personnel on various posts of Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Clerk), Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Accounts) and Police Sub Inspector (Confidential) against the vacancies of the year 2022 and 2023. Additional list of eligible candidates has been released. A total of 91 vacancies have emerged. There are 56 vacancies for men and 35 for women. Talented and accomplished young men and women in sports like Volleyball, Kabaddi, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton etc. will be able to apply for this recruitment from today, 20th December 2023.
