UP Police Recruitment 2023: After recruitment of 60 thousand constables in UP Police, Yogi government has given another good news. Now the recruitment notification for computer operator posts has been released. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow has started direct recruitment for 930 posts of Computer Operator Grade-A in UP Police. For this, the recruitment advertisement has been released tomorrow on 29 December 2023 on the official website of UP Police uppbpb.gov.in. The online application process for this recruitment of UP Police will start from January 7, 2024. The last date for submission of online application fees is 28th January and fee adjustments and amendments in the application can be made till 30th January. Candidates are advised to read the complete recruitment notification carefully for detailed information about application eligibility, selection process and exam pattern etc.

pay scale – Pay Band – 5200 – 20200, Grade Pay Rs.2400. According to the 7th Pay Commission, the pay matrix will be Rs 25500 – 81100.

Application Qualification – It is necessary to have passed Intermediate (Class 12) examination with Physics and Mathematics subjects from a recognized board. Along with this, one should have O level computer certificate from a DOEC institution recognized by the Government of India.
It would be better to have other qualifications like B certificate of NSCC or minimum 2 years of experience of serving in Territorial Army.
Age Limit – 18 to 28 years.
Selection will be done through written examination:
In this recruitment of UP Police, eligible candidates will be selected through written examination. The exam will be of 200 marks. A total of 160 questions will be asked in the exam which will be multiple choice. The written examination will have subjects related to 1- General Knowledge, 2- Mental Aptitude, 3- Reasoning Power and 4- Computer Science.
Candidates are required to obtain minimum 40 percent marks to pass this examination. However, candidates will be selected on the basis of normalization and merit list.
