SSC SSA/UDC: Applications started, recruitment will be done on 272 posts, see selection process

SSC SSA/UDC Exam: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the online application process for SSC SSA/UDC exam. Candidates who want to apply for this recruitment examination can fill the online application form by visiting the official website ssc.nic.in.

Let us tell you, the application process for Senior Secretariat Assistant / Upper Divisional Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2020, 2021 and 2022 has been started. The last date to apply is 7 November 2024.

The computer based examination for this recruitment examination will be conducted as per schedule in February-March 2024. However, the exam date has not been released yet. SSC will fill a total of 272 vacancies through this recruitment examination. The number of vacancies offered is 38 for recruitment year 2020, 153 vacancies for recruitment year 2021 and 81 vacancies for recruitment year 2022.

–– Dates for submission of online application: 18 October to 7 November

–– Last date and time for receipt of online applications: 7 November (23:00 hrs)

–– Schedule of Computer Based Examination: February-March 2024 (although the exam date has not been released yet)

Who can apply for the recruitment test?

To apply for these posts, the age of the candidate should not be more than 50 years on the crucial/cutoff date for the recruitment year 2020, 2021 and 2022 prescribed by their respective cadre controlling authority. However, age relaxation will be given for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

SSC SSA/UDC exam pattern will be like this

Computer Based Examination and Written Examination will be conducted in two parts: Part-I will consist of two papers, i.e., Paper-I Computer Based Examination of 200 marks will be conducted.

Written examination will be conducted in Paper-II. Which will be of 100 marks. Paper-I will have objective type (multiple choice) questions, while Paper-II will have descriptive type questions. Let us tell you, there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper I.

SSC SSA/UDC EXAM: This will be the selection process

Candidates will be selected through computer based examination and written examination. The examination will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission in Delhi only.
