SSC GD Constable Exam 2024: For the first time, constable exam will be held in 13 regional languages ​​including Hindi, English: Home Ministry

SSC GD Constable Exam 2024: Staff Selection Commission's Constable GD Recruitment 2024 exam dates are near. The written examination of GD Constable 2024 is going to start from 20th February 2024 and will continue till 7th March 2024. SSC GD Constable Exam Admit Card has been released. According to the information released from the Home Ministry, about 48 lakh candidates will participate in the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 examination in about 128 cities across the country. GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 will be conducted on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 February and 1, 5, 6, 7 March, 2024. This time the Government of India had released the advertisement to fill a total of 26146 vacancies of SSC GD Constable. 47,45,501 candidates have applied for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Rifleman (GD) in SSF and Assam Rifles 2024.

Exam Pattern:

The paper will be of one hour. Only 80 questions will be asked in the paper. In the written examination, questions related to General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Maths and English/Hindi subjects will be asked. 20-20 questions will be asked from all four sections. All sections will be of 40-40 marks. There will also be negative marking in this exam. One fourth mark will be deducted for wrong answer.

Selection Process :
Eligible candidates will be selected for SSC GD Constable posts through computer based examination. In this, successful candidates will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PST). Document verification will be done for the successful candidates. PET PST will be merely qualifying. Only passing in PET and PST will be required.

SSC gave these instructions to the candidates:
– At the time of appearing in the examination, he/she must have an original photo identity card having the same date of birth as printed in the admission certificate.
– If the date of birth is not given in the original photo government identity card, then the candidate must have an additional original government certificate as proof of his/her date of birth.
– If the date of birth mentioned in the admission certificate and the original photo identity card/original government certificate brought as proof of date of birth does not match, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
