Recruitment for 320 Home Guard posts in Uttarakhand, know eligibility and how will be selected

The recruitment of 320 women home guards and 10 platoon commanders in the Uttarakhand Home Guard Department will start from September 1. Commandant General-Home Guard Kewal Khurana has given this information. Khurana said, CM Pushkar Dhami had announced these posts on Home Guard Foundation Day. Now the government has given approval. For the first time in ten districts of Uttarakhand, Women Platoon of Home Guard will open after recruitment. Their recruitment will be done in two phases. In the first phase, recruitment will be done in Tehri, Pauri, Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, USnagar. In the second phase, recruitment will be done in Champawat, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag.

Golden opportunity for 18 to 40 year olds

The minimum age of the candidate for Home Guard recruitment is 18, while the maximum age is 40 years. Educational qualification will be minimum 10th. 10 marks for educational qualification, maximum five marks for other qualification like NCC, five marks for skilled sportsperson, five marks for skilled vehicle driver, five marks will also be prescribed for eligible family members of paid and unpaid home guards.

will be called for physical test

Khurana told that for this a release of all the districts will be published on August 3. Physical efficiency test will be conducted in all the districts of the first phase from September 1. This exam will be of 30 marks. Thus the total exam will be of 60 marks. This recruitment will be completed by the first week of October.
