There is good news for the students of Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology (MMMUT), who are facing shortage of teachers. The recruitment process has been started for all the 110 vacant posts of teachers in the university. Candidates can apply for various posts till 28th February.
Teachers were last appointed in MMMUT in the year 2017. After that appointments could not be made. Whereas during this period a large number of teachers kept retiring. Due to continuous increase in seats and retirement of teachers, a total of 110 posts of teachers are vacant. Teaching work is being taken over by guest faculty but other work is being badly affected. In view of this, on November 4, 2023, the Board of Management had approved the appointment of all regular faculty.
Earlier in April 2021, advertisement was issued for a total of 96 vacant posts but after that the matter got stuck in the rules of implementing the roster of reservation system. After that appointments could not be made. The university administration has decided that the fees of the candidates who had applied in the year 2021 will be reimbursed.
It has been informed by MMMUT Vice Chancellor, Prof. JP Saini that applications have been invited for appointment to a total of 110 posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. After the end of the application date, the appointment process will be started in March. The fees of the candidates who applied in the year 2021 will be reimbursed.
