JSSC: Jharkhand application starts again for 26000 teacher recruitment, read 10 special things

The application process has been started again for appointment to 26,001 posts of Assistant Professor in primary schools of Jharkhand Government. After the High Court lifted the stay on the appointment process, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the date for filling the form. Interested candidates can register themselves from October 7 to October 22 midnight. The examination fee can be paid till 24th October. Time has been given till October 26 to upload photo and signature. After this, candidates can modify their application form from 28th October to 30th October. Jharkhand High Court had lifted the ban on the appointment process on October 5.

1. Appointment to these posts will be done through Jharkhand Elementary Teacher Combined Competitive Examination-2023. Of the total posts, 12,868 posts have been reserved for assistant teachers (para teachers). Whereas 13,133 posts are for non-para teachers.

2. Those who have passed TET will be able to join

Candidates who have passed Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) in 2013 and 2016 will be able to appear for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor. There has been no talk of giving a chance to CTET passed candidates.

3. Examination will be held in one phase

The examination for this recruitment will be conducted in one phase. There will be objective type questions and there will be no negative marking. Candidates will be eligible for appointment as Assistant Professor on the basis of state level merit list in the subject/subject group in which they have passed TET.

4. The examination for the appointment of Assistant Professor will be computer based. On this basis, marks and merit list will also be released. There will be a test in the name of Main Examination. There will be questions with objective and multiple choice answers.

7. Age Limit – 21 years to 40 years. Age will be calculated from August 1, 2023, while the maximum age limit will be calculated from August 1, 2019.

8. Relaxation in age limit

– 42 years for extremely backward and backward classes
– 43 years for women (unreserved, extremely backward, backward and economically weaker sections)
– 45 years for men and women belonging to Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste.

9. Pay scale

Intermediate Trained Assistant Professor – Rs 25,500-81,100
– Graduate Trained Assistant Professor – Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300
– Assistant Professor of class 1st to 5th – Rs 39,000 to 44,356
– Assistant Professor of class 6th to 8th – Rs 45,092 to 50,270

10. There will be no negative marking in the examination.
