In this, candidates having ITI from any trade, NCC certificate and players will get exemption in the form of bonus marks. Relaxation will be available only in the written test.
This information was given by Rishi Dubey, Director of Army Recruitment Office, Varanasi on Sunday. He said that candidates having C certificate in NCC and participating in the Republic Day parade will get 25 marks, 20 marks in NCC only for C certificate, 15 marks for B certificate and 10 marks for candidates with A certificate. Medalists in international sports events will get 25 points, national medal winners 20, medal winners in state level games will get 15 points bonus. While ITI candidates will get relaxation of 50 marks.

The director said that this time the army website has been linked to DG Locker for transparency. Candidates applying should note that after creating their own DG Locker, keep the certificate safe and use it.
There will be 10 centers in Varanasi
The probable date of Agniveer recruitment exam is 17th April. However, its official information will be released on the army website. Varanasi will have 10 centers for the exam, while Gorakhpur will have nine centres. The examinations will be held in three shifts daily for 15 days.
Will give written test anywhere, rally only in Varanasi
The director informed that written examinations will be held at 176 centers across the country. Candidate can enter the center as per convenience. Five options will be given. Any of these centers can be allotted. However, the rally of the candidates of Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Bhadohi, Azamgarh, Ballia, Mau, Deoria, Gorakhpur districts associated with Varanasi Army Recruitment Office will be held at Ranbankure Maidan only.
Now only applicants between 17 years six months to 21 years
This time the age of application is only between 17 years six months to 21 years. Last time there was a relaxation of two years. This time this discount is not being given.
Till now 15 thousand applications, chance till March 15
So far 15,000 applications have been received from the districts connected with the Varanasi Army Recruitment Office. There is a chance to apply till 12 midnight of March 15. Will apply on joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Army will pay half the fee
The application fee is Rs 500. However, the candidates will have to pay only Rs 250. The remaining Rs 250 will be borne by the army. Aadhaar and 10th class certificate are required for the application. Candidates must have mobile number linked with the e-mail.

The director said that there is no apprehension of any irregularities in the online written examination. The agency which conducts the common entrance exam of NEET and JEE will also conduct this exam. Told that after the written examination, 15 candidates will be selected against one seat for further process.
