Join Indian Territorial Army 2023: This is a great opportunity for former military commissioned officers to serve the country again by becoming a part of the Indian Army. Indian Army has issued a notification for the recruitment of Territorial Army Officers for former military officers. In the Territorial Army, you can get military experience while being a common citizen of the country. This is a volunteer service. After giving you training, the army can take your service if needed. Graduate youth can apply online for this by visiting jointterritorialarmy.gov.in. Candidates selected through training will be given the rank of Lieutenant. A total of 19 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. The registration process started from 23 October. The registration process will end on November 21, 2023. A total of 19 vacancies have been released in which 18 are for men and 1 for women.
Educational qualification– Must have obtained a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute.
Note – Applicant must be physically and medically healthy.
Age Range : Minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years.
Selection Process- Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination followed by interview, subject to passing of the written examination by the Preliminary Interview Board (PIB) conducted by the concerned Territorial Army Group Headquarters. Successful candidates will have to undergo further testing in Service Selection Board, SSC and Medical Board for final selection. The written examination will be of 2 hours and there will be 100 questions of 1 mark each in the examination paper.
