JBT Teacher Vacancy 2024: The last date of application for recruitment to 396 posts of JBT Teacher (Primary Teacher – Class I to V) released by Chandigarh Education Department has been extended till 29 February 2024. Earlier the last date to apply was 19 February. Now the last date for depositing fees has been extended from 22 February to 4 March. The fee confirmation list of the candidates will be released on 11 March 2024. The examination for this recruitment will be held on March 17 from 9.30 am to 12 noon. Admit cards will be released on 12 March 2024. The answer key will come on March 19, on which objections can be lodged from March 21.
Among the vacant posts, 179 posts are unreserved. 94 are reserved for OBC, 84 SC and 39 EWS category. Detailed exam syllabus can be seen at www.chdeducation.gov.in.
Qualification – Graduation and D.El.Ed. CTET pass.
Age Range – 21 years to 37 years. Age will be calculated from January 1, 2024.
pay scale – 9300- 34800/- (Grade Pay 4200/-) Level – 6
selection – Objective type test. 150 questions will be asked. The paper will be of two and a half hours.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. If the candidates have equal marks, then in such a situation, those having more marks in D.El.Ed will be kept higher in merit.
