IAF Agniveer Notification 2024: Notification for new recruitment (01/2025) of Agniveer (Agniveervayu) in the Indian Air Force has been issued. The online application process for this recruitment will start from January 17, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in till 6 February 2024. The online written examination will be held from 17 March 2024. Women can also apply for this recruitment.
What is educational qualification?
A. For science subjects
Applicant must have passed 12th class with Mathematics, Physics and English subjects with at least 50% marks. It is necessary to have at least 50 percent marks in English.
Or
Three year engineering diploma holder with 50% marks
Or
Two year vocational course with at least 50% marks along with two non-vocational subjects like Physics and Maths.
B. For subjects other than science subjects
12th pass with at least 50% marks in any subject. It is necessary to have at least 50 percent marks in English.
Age Range
The age of the candidate should be less than 21 years. That means the candidate must have been born between January 2, 2004 and July 2, 2007.
minimum length
The height of the male candidate applying should be at least 152.5 cm and the height of the female candidate should be at least 152 cm.
Chest width of male candidates should be at least 77 cm. He could expand his chest 5 cm.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected in these stages:
– Online written examination.
– Physical Fitness Test
– Medical test.
In the physical test, men will have to run 1.6 km in 7 minutes and women will have to run 1.6 km in 8 minutes. After this, pushups, sit ups and squats will also have to be done.
Other special points of recruitment
– Air Force Agniveer will have medical insurance of Rs 48 lakh during his four years of training.
– Agniveer will not be entitled to graduation.
During service, Agniveer will also be able to avail the benefits of Indian Air Force hospitals and Indian Air Force CSD canteen.
– Fire warriors will get 30 leaves annually. Apart from this, sick leave will be given only on the advice of the doctor.
