Assistant Professor Recruitment: Once again an opportunity has come up for contractual recruitment for teachers in AIIMS. AIIMS administration has released applications for 65 vacant posts in 27 departments on March 11. Of these, maximum nine posts are in the medicine department. Selection for these posts will be done through interview. Deputation and retired teachers will also be able to apply. AIIMS has also invited Indian doctors posted abroad to become teachers. This time maximum 23 posts are of Professor. Apart from this, there are 17 posts of Assistant Professor, 13 of Associate Professor and 12 of Additional Professor. Applications for these posts can be made within 30 days of the release of the recruitment advertisement. Candidates are advised to read the entire recruitment advertisement carefully for detailed information about application eligibility, application conditions and selection process.
According to the information released by the recruitment cell of AIIMS, there is the greatest need for teachers in medicine. Teachers are required for nine posts in the Medicine Department. In which two posts of Professor, two posts of Associate Professor and five posts of Assistant Professor are vacant. After medicine, the greatest need for teachers is in radiology. Seven posts of teachers are vacant here. Which includes the posts of one Professor, two Additional Professors, one Associate Professor and three Assistant Professors. Five posts of teachers are also vacant in Trauma Emergency. In which there are posts of one professor and four assistant professors.
Executive Director, Dr. GK Pal said that applications have been invited to overcome the shortage of teachers. It is expected that most of the posts of teachers will be filled soon.
