Delhi Home Guard Recruitment: Today is the last date for application for 10 thousand posts, rules of race are like police constable.

Today, February 13, is the last date of application for recruitment to 10,258 posts of Home Guard in Delhi. Interested youth who have not applied can apply on the official website dghgenrollment.in. Of the total posts, 33.33 percent are reserved for women. Selection will be done only after physical test according to different age categories. Candidates should keep in mind that these posts are temporary, that is, they will be kept on contract for a few years only. The level of difficulty of the race in this recruitment has been kept like that of Delhi Police Constable. Home Guard will also have to run 1600 meters in six minutes.

Age should be between 20 to 45 years. Ex-servicemen will get relaxation of a few years.

Qualification – 12th pass.

The first condition of the recruitment process being started by the Home Guard Directorate of Delhi Government is that it is mandatory for the applicant to be a native of Delhi. No relaxation or reservation has been given to former civil defense personnel. When civil defense personnel were removed, they were given exemption along with talk of recruitment in Home Guard category. No relaxation has been mentioned in the applications sought for Home Guard posts.

It is necessary to have these documents
Applicant must have passport, voter ID card, current and valid ration card for residence certificate. Apart from this, valid driving license issued by the Transport Department is also valid as residence certificate.

Selection – Physical Test and Written Examination.
Age, race, in metres, qualifying time
Up to 30 years – 1600 meters in 6 minutes
Between 30 – 40 years – 1600 meters in 07 minutes
Between 40 – 45 years 1600 meters in 8 minutes
Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CAPF Personnel above 45 years of age 1600 meters – in 10 minutes

for female candidates
Up to 30 years – 1600 meters in 8 minutes
30 – 40 years – 1600 meters in 09 minutes
Between 40-45 years 1600 meters in 10 minutes

written exam pattern
The written examination will consist of 80 multiple choice objective questions, each question carrying 1 mark.
There will be a total paper of 80 marks. Its duration will be 90 minutes. Question paper will be of matriculation level
(10th grade)
