BPSC: After TRE, Bihar Public Service Commission announces another recruitment, apply for 106 posts from February 21

Bihar Public Service Commission has issued another recruitment notification after the third phase of teacher recruitment. This time recruitment has been done for 106 posts of Assistant Architect. Candidates will be able to apply for this recruitment on www.bpsc.bih.nic.in from 21 February 2024 to 11 March. Candidates are not required to send hard copy of the application form to BPSC office. Among the vacant posts, 26 posts are unreserved. 11 posts are reserved for EWS, 21 SC, 2 ST, 27 EBC and 19 BC category. Assistant architects already employed on contract basis will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit for a period equal to the period they have worked on contract.

Age Limit – 21 year to 37 years.

– Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class (Male and Female) – 40 years
– Unreserved category; Female – 40 years
– Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (Male and Female) – 42 years

Qualification – Bachelor in Architect. Must be registered with Council of Architecture, New Delhi. It is mandatory to complete the educational qualification by 11 March 2024.

Pay Scale – Level- 9

Selection- Based on one stage written examination. Objective multiple choice questions of 300 marks will be asked in the 2-hour examination. One third mark will be deducted for wrong answer.
The marks of written examination will get 75 percent weightage in selection.
Maximum weightage on contract basis – 25 percent (5 marks will be given for every year, maximum can be 25 marks.)
