It is known that the APPSC Group-1 preliminary examination will be held on January 8 across the state of Andhra Pradesh. Arrangements for conducting the exam have also already started. APPSC has announced on Saturday (December 31) that the examination will be conducted at a total of 297 centers in 18 districts across the state. The Commission informed that control rooms are being set up in 18 District Collectorates to indicate the identity of examination centers and other information to the candidates. On the exam day, the first paper will be held from 10 am to 12 pm and the second paper from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Hall tickets have already been released. Candidates appearing for the exam can download the hall tickets from APPSC official website.
Meanwhile, 1,26,449 candidates have applied for the filling of 92 Group 1 posts. Preliminary examination will be conducted for them on 8th of this month. After that only those who qualify will be allowed to write the mains exam.
