Appointment letter of Inter College Clerk given with fake signature of Secretary, open poll in joining

The fraudsters forged the signature of the UP Board Secretary and handed over the letter of appointment to the post of clerk in Public Inter College Kerakat, Jaunpur, to Rajeev Ratan Singh, resident of Virampur (Jaunpur). On Saturday, when Rajeev Ratan reached the school to take charge, the fraud was revealed. Secretary Dibyakant Shukla has sent a letter to the police station in-charge Civil Lines to register an FIR against the fraudsters in this case. However, the Civil Lines Police has not registered the case, citing it as a Jaunpur case.

On the letter head of the fake appointment letter issued on 18th June, Secondary Education Council Board Uttar Pradesh Lucknow is written, while below the scanned signature of the Secretary, Secondary Education Council Uttar Pradesh Lucknow is printed. The Secretary has made it clear that the Secondary Education Council does not appoint clerks or any other post in the schools of the state. The appointment letter which has been printed on the letter head of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow is also completely fake and is not the letter head used by the Council office. Also, the letter number UPS 821 printed in the fake appointment letter issued is also not the letter number of the council office.
