If you are looking for low budget smartphone then there is good news for you. Smartphone brand TECNO has launched the latest 4GB RAM variant of its most popular Spark series – Spark 8. There are some differences in the new variant as compared to the original Tecno Spark 8 handset. The latest variant packs a 6.56-inch display, 16-megapixel AI dual rear cameras, and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 gaming chipset. The new Tecno Spark 8 model also comes with support for the Indian language. Like other variants of Tecno Spark 8, the new variant can also be purchased in three color options.
What is the price of the phone in India?
The price of 4GB + 64GB storage variant of Tecno Spark 8 in India has been set at Rs 10,999. Phone Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, and Turquoise Cyan Color Available to buy in option.
According to the company, the launch offers include a free Bluetooth earpiece worth Rs 799 and one-time screen replacement. The new smartphone is available from today across retail stores across India.
Tecno Spark 8 is already on sale in India for Rs 7,999 for 2GB+64GB storage variant and Rs 9,299 for 3GB+32GB storage variant.

Basic Specifications of Tecno Spark 8
– The new Tecno Spark 8 variant comes with dual-SIM (Nano) support and runs Android 11 (Go Edition) with HiOS v7.6 on top. The phone flaunts a 6.56-inch HD+ (720×1,612 pixels) dot notch display with 20.15:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz touch sampling rate, and 480 nits peak brightness. The pixel density of the display is 269ppi.
– The 4GB RAM variant of the Tecno Spark 8 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 gaming chipset clocked at 2.0GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Storage can be expanded via microSD card. The company has packed the MediaTek Helio A25 SoC in the base 2GB RAM variant. The company claims that the HyperEngine technology present in the handset ensures good performance during gaming.
– For optics, the latest variant of the Tecno Spark 8 sports a dual rear camera setup, which is headlined by a 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It is paired with AI lens and quad flashlight. Modes for the rear cameras include AI Beauty, Smile Shot, AI Portrait, HDR, AR Shot, Filters, Time-lapse, Panorama, Video Bokehand, Slow Motion and more.

– For selfies, like the vanilla model, the new variant also packs an 8-megapixel shooter with dual front flash. It also supports wide selfie and AR shot modes.
Tecno Spark 8 comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS, Micro-USB and 3.5mm headphone jack. It is also equipped with DTS stereo sound effects. The new Tecno Spark 8 variant comes with Indian Language Support feature that allows users to interact in select local languages.
Onboard sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. It also has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery, which the company claims to provide up to 65 days of standby time. Apart from this, the phone can offer up to 30 hours of calling and 144 hours of music playback. The dimensions of the phone are 164.82×76.05×9.2mm.
