UPSC CSE 2023: This important notice issued for the candidates appearing in the personality test

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an important notice related to the personality test i.e. interview round starting from February 1 for the candidates who have succeeded in the Civil Services Main Examination (CSE) 2023. Candidates can check the official notice by visiting the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in.

As per the notice, the Commission will open the application window for Detailed Application Form (DAF) – I of CSE 2023 for the candidates to update their details regarding employment or service allotment. Candidates will be able to update their details through the official website of the Commission. The process to apply for DAF-I will be active from 1 February 2024 to 5 February 2024 till 6 pm. Let us tell you, after closing the window, no other request will be considered by the Commission.

The Commission took the decision after receiving several requests from the candidates appearing in the Personality Test i.e. Interview round. Candidates who are appearing for the interview are advised to update the details of DAF 1 from 01.02.2024 to 05.02.2024 (06:00 PM). The first phase of UPSC interviews started on January 2, 2024 and will end on February 16, 2024.

UPSC interview dates for the second phase released, 1003 candidates will appear.

Let us tell you, the interview round of UPSC CSE second phase will start from February 19 and will continue till March 15, 2024. According to the information received from UPSC, 1003 candidates will be included in the interview. Let us tell you, the schedule of the first phase of interviews for 1026 candidates was announced on December 19, 2023, in which the interviews started from January 2, 2024, and will end on February 16, 2024. Interviews will be conducted in two shifts. Reporting time is 9:00 am and 1:00 pm for afternoon session.

UPSC Main Exam 2023 can be conducted from September 15, 2023 to September 24, 2023. The commission had declared the results on December 8, 2023. UPSC Preliminary Exam 2023 was held on 28 May. In 2023, around 13 lakh candidates appeared. Around 15,000 have been selected for the main exam in UPSC preliminary exam.
