UPSC CDS EXAM 2024: The application window for Combined Defense Service (CDS 1) will be closed tomorrow by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates who have not applied yet can fill the application form by visiting the official website upsconline.nic.in. Let us tell you, the last date to apply is 9 January 2024. The application process for UPSC CDS 1 started from December 20, 2023. The last date to fill the form is tomorrow, January 9 (6:00 pm).

While releasing the official notification of CDS 1, UPSC had also released the exam date. According to the notification, the examination is to be conducted on April 21. This examination will be conducted in 70 cities across the country. If any change is made in the date of examination, then information regarding the same will be given by UPSC.

Through this recruitment, candidates will be appointed to 457 posts in the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.

This is how UPSC CDS 1 exam will be conducted

CDS exam will be conducted in two phases. First there will be a written examination, then the candidates who will be successful in the written examination will be shortlisted for the interview round.

UPSC CDS exam is for IMA, INA and AFA posts. It consists of three papers, which are English Language, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics.

Let us tell you, UPSC CDS exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. 2 hours will be given to solve the exam. Let us tell you, the Combined Defense Service (CDS) examination is organized twice a year for the recruitment of commissioned officers in the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

Step 3- Complete the Part 1 registration process by filling the application form
