Around 1500 students have got employment till March during the placement process in Delhi Technological University (DTU) of Delhi Government. These include students of engineering and MBA programs. Additional Software and IT Services MNC company has offered an annual salary of Rs 85.3 lakh to a Computer Science Engineering student from DTU.
DTU's Training and Placement Head Professor Dr. Rajesh Rohilla said that the placement process had started in July. Till March this year, about one and a half thousand students have received job offers. This process will continue till June. The average annual salary package of DTU since July has been Rs 15.7 lakh. Companies from sectors like Software & IT Services, Financial Services, Core Engineering companies, Computer Software, Tech and Core Electronics Design participated in the placement.

Opportunity to become professor in DTU without UGC NET and PhD
Delhi Technological University DTU has announced recruitment for 225 posts of Professor and Assistant Professor. Of these, there are 67 vacancies for Professor of Practice while there are 158 vacancies for Assistant Professor. It is not mandatory to have UGC NET and PhD degree for Professor of Practice vacancy. DTU is going to recruit Assistant Professors under the Professor of Practice scheme of UGC to link university education with skills. Notifications for Assistant Professor recruitment for both Professor (POP – Professor of Practice) and Assistant Professor have been issued separately on DTU website dtu.ac.in. The last date to apply for POP is 15th April 2024.
