SSC: Last date of application tomorrow for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 26000 vacancy, these are the exam dates.

Tomorrow 31st December 2023 is the last date to apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024. If any interested candidate has still not applied then he should visit the official website ssc.nic.in and apply as soon as possible. Through this recruitment, 26146 vacancies of GD Constable in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Rifleman in Assam Rifles will be filled. Fees can be paid till January 1, 2024. The selected ones will get the pay scale of Level-3 – (Rs 21,700-69,100). GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 will be conducted on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 February and 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 March, 2024.

Some of the vacant posts are 6174 posts of BSF, 11025 posts of CISF, 3337 posts of CRPF, 635 posts of SSB, 3189 posts of ITBP, 1490 posts of Assam Rifles, 296 posts of SSF. There are a total of 23347 posts for men and a total of 2799 for women. 9626 posts among men and 1183 posts among women are unreserved. Among men, 3334 posts are reserved for SC, 2354 ST, 4776 OBC, 3257 posts are reserved for EWS category. Whereas among women, 408 posts are reserved for SC, 248 posts for ST, 584 OBC, 376 for EWS.

How will the selection be done?

First there will be written examination (computer based). Successful candidates will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PST). Those who pass PET PST will be called for medical and document verification. The final merit list will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. PET PST will be merely qualifying. Only passing in PET and PST will be required.

written exam pattern

The paper will be of one hour. Only 80 questions will be asked in the paper. In the written examination, questions related to General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Maths and English/Hindi subjects will be asked. 20-20 questions will be asked from all four sections. All sections will be of 40-40 marks.

There will be negative marking. One fourth mark will be deducted for wrong answer.
