Delhi Home Guard Selection Process: Directorate General of Home Guard (DGHG), New Delhi has invited online applications for enrollment of Home Guard Volunteers. Candidates who are going to apply for this post should know how the candidates will be selected and what is the entire process. Let us know in detail.

First of all, let us tell you, Delhi Home Guard selection process will be divided into various stages, i.e. Physical Measurement Test and Efficiency Test (PMET), Written Examination and Medical Examination.

Let us tell you, Directorate General of Home Guard (DGHG), New Delhi has started the application process for Delhi Home Guard Recruitment 2024 from January 24, 2024. Candidates who want to apply for Home Guard post can do so through the official website of DGHG dghgenrollment.in. The last date to apply is till 13 February 2024. 10285 posts of Home Guard will be filled through this recruitment.

Know how the Physical Measurement Test and Efficiency Test (PMET) will be.

In the Physical Measurement Test and Efficiency Test (PMET), candidates will have to run only 1,600 meters and height measurement will be measured. Only the declared candidates who are successful in this process will be shortlisted for the written examination.

The qualifying height for male and female candidates should be as follows.

Male Candidates- 165 cm

Female candidates – 152 cm

Physical Efficiency Test

The rules of the race for male and female candidates are as follows.

Male candidates up to 30 years – Race – 1600 meters in 6 minutes

Male candidates between 30 to 40 years – Race – 1600 meters in 7 minutes

Male candidates between 40 to 45 years – Race – 1600 meters in 8 minutes

Ex-Serviceman/Ex-Serviceman CAPF Personnel Male Candidates above 45 years of age – Race – 1600 meters in 10 minutes

Rules of race for women candidates

Female candidates up to 30 years – Race – 1600 meters in 8 minutes

Female candidates between 30 to 40 years – Race – 1600 meters in 9 minutes

Female candidates between 40 to 45 years – Race – 1600 meters in 10 minutes

Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CAPF Personal above 45 years of age – 1600 meters in 12 minutes

Let us tell you, the second stage of Delhi Home Guard selection process will be written examination and providing bonus marks.

– The written examination will have 80 multiple choice objective questions of 80 marks.

– Duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.

– Question paper will be of matriculation standard (10th class).

The medium of examination will be Hindi and English language.
