Modern residential Sanskrit schools will open in every district, decision of Yogi government

To promote Sanskrit education in the state and to increase the interest of children towards Sanskrit education, the government is going to open residential Sanskrit schools in every district of the state. The new Sanskrit residential schools will be equipped with modern facilities. These schools, to be established on the lines of convent schools, will have a Sanskritic environment and will mostly have smart classes.

Modern subjects will be included and studies will be done from NCERT books. In these residential Sanskrit schools, not only education will be given up to +2 but employment related education will also be provided after that. This scheme has established 35 Sanskrit schools in the first phase and 40 Sanskrit schools in the second phase. Under this scheme, Sanskrit education is to be provided in a completely Sanskritic environment within the same campus. Two months ago, a proposal prepared by the Education Department was sent to the government, on which the Finance Department has also approved after taking opinion from various agencies. Now after departmental formalities it will be sent to the cabinet.
