IIT will teach more professionals than students in PG

The students doing postgraduate studies in IIT Kanpur will be professionals just like the students. Keeping in mind the future needs, the institute has started 14 new e-Masters degree courses. In this, professionals can progress by studying along with their job. All these courses have been prepared according to the present and future needs. The institute also awards convocation degrees to the students of these courses. For this, it is not necessary for the candidates to score GATE, whereas in other postgraduate courses, admission is done through GATE or JAM.

Various postgraduate courses are offered in IIT Kanpur. The institute is offering M.Tech in 15 subjects and M.Sc in eight subjects. One master's course each is in design and business management. According to the IIT administration, the institute has started 14 e-Masters degree courses. Permission has been given to complete it in one to three years. For the progress of the country, it is necessary for the new young generation and the leaders currently working in high positions to be experts in cutting-edge technology. Therefore, IIT has prepared courses on subjects like cyber security, finance etc. to make working professionals experts in cutting-edge technology and future needs. The institute will also provide value to the candidates of e-Masters degree course like normal students.
