So far, 891 students of the session-2024 batch of IIT ISM Dhanbad have received job offers from various companies. Of these, 844 students accepted the job offer. If we look at the data of the Institute's Career Development Center till March 11, till now about two hundred companies from India and abroad have come to the institute for campus placement or have joined online. The average annual pay package is Rs 13.68 lakh. The minimum annual pay package is Rs 10 lakh. The highest pay package received is Rs 51 lakh annually.

Live telecast of PM's program in IIT
Dhanbad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's program was telecast live on Wednesday at Penman Hall of IIT ISM. The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of semiconductor facilities in Gujarat and Assam.
Director Prof. JK Patnaik, Deputy Director Prof. Dheeraj Kumar and other deans, heads of departments, faculty members and others were present at Penman Hall to watch the live telecast. Professor at IISc Bengaluru and co-founder of AGNIT Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd. Mayank Srivastava's online lecture took place.
