IAS Success Story: Quit job for the sake of UPSC, faced challenges and Ankita Jain became IAS

Success Story Of IAS Topper Ankita Jain: Many people leave their job with a good package to prepare for UPSC Civil Services. For many years they struggle here and achieve success and fulfill their dream. Similar is the story of Ankita Jain, who secured All India Rank 3 in UPSC Exam 2020. After Ankita got an engineering degree, she got a job at a good package, but due to joining the civil service, she left the job and started preparing. He fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS officer in his fourth attempt. 

It was such an early journey
Ankita, originally from Delhi, had a dream of joining the civil service since childhood. She was smart in studies and after her intermediate, she got an engineering degree from Delhi Technological University. After B.Tech, he got a private job with a good package. After working for some time, he decided to prepare for UPSC and left the job. Ankita’s husband is an IPS officer. Many more people in his family are in civil service. They got a good preparation environment. 

Success after 4 years of struggle
Ankita started preparing for UPSC in the year 2017. He did not get success in the first attempt, but he passed the examination in the second attempt. This time his rank was not good and did not get IAS service. She joined the Indian Accounts Service and kept preparing for UPSC as well. He did not get success in the third attempt. Finally, in the fourth attempt, he fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS.

Ankita gives this advice to other people
According to Ankita, candidates preparing for UPSC should first read the basic books of NCERT. When your basics are clear then go through the standard books. Apart from this, make sure to prepare short notes while studying. Revise from these notes after the completion of studies. Practice answer writing for mains exam.
