Delhi High Court reprimanded CBSE, said- after issuing the admit card, one cannot stop from giving the exam.

The Delhi High Court on Monday resolved the problems of a class 10 student and allowed her to appear in the examination. Let us tell you that the Class 10th examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have started, in such a situation a student was stopped by the CBSE Board from appearing in the examination due to late submission of domicile certificate.

The Delhi High Court said that the admit card for the examination had been issued for the student and was in her possession, hence even after the admit card was issued, CBSE had stopped the student from entering the examination hall and taking the examination. It is unthinkable to do so. The court further said, CBSE has no right to do so.

Justice C Hari Shankar has allowed the student to appear for the Class 10 examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Let us tell you, the student had filed the petition through her mother. After which he has got permission to take the examination.

Along with this, while reprimanding CBSE, the High Court said, “This is completely unacceptable. It is expected from CBSE that in future it will be cautious about the right of students to appear in the examination.”

Justice Hari Shankar expressed his displeasure and said, “The admit card of the Class 10 student had already been issued and when the student came to appear for the examination, she was made to stand outside the examination hall. This is inhuman behavior.”

Hearing the student's petition, the Delhi High Court said that the student will be given time to complete the paper of the day on which she was standing outside the examination hall without giving the paper. Let us tell you, like all other students, equal time will be given to complete the paper. Simultaneously, the High Court also clarified that if any other student, who has been stopped outside the examination hall for not uploading the domicile certificate in time, will also be entitled to appear in the examination with full time as mentioned above.
