Under the Chief Minister Nari Shakti Yojana, two girl students from Bihar have been selected in UPSC. Both are residents of Patna. In this, Dipti Mohali got 184th rank and Kriti Kamna got 417th rank. Dipti has been selected from general category, while Kriti has been selected from backward category. Let us tell you that she was given civil service incentive amount by Women and Child Development Corporation Bihar under the Chief Minister Nari Shakti Yojana. According to the Corporation Office, this time 24 women were selected from the applications received from the women candidates who passed the Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination of UPSC. Two women candidates have been successful in this.

Every year, after passing the preliminary examination of UPSC and BPSC, financial help is given for the preparation of the main examination. Women candidates from general category, economically weaker and backward classes get help from the state government through Women and Child Development Corporation. Under this, an amount of Rs 1 lakh is given for the preparation of UPSC main exam and Rs 50 thousand is given for the preparation of BPSC main exam.

Know what is the eligibility to get assistance

– Usually, after the UPSC pre-result is declared, the form to avail the benefits of this scheme is released.
– For this one should be a permanent resident of Bihar state.
– Should not come under SC, ST category in Bihar government.
– UPSC PT passed.
– Any candidate will be given the benefit of Civil Services Incentive Scheme only once.
– Candidates already working in any government funded institution will not get the benefit of this scheme.
