Let us tell you, some time after the announcement of the schedule of 18th Lok Sabha elections, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) tweeted that, “The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) has postponed the CA Intermediate and Final Examination 2024. , which were scheduled to be held in May, now the new schedule of the exam will be released on March 19 evening on the official websites icai.org and icaiexams.icai.org.
Lok Sabha elections will be held in 7 phases. Which will start from 19th April 2024 and will end on 1st June 2024. Counting of votes for all phases will be done on June 4, 2024.
CUET UG Exam
The dates for Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 were scheduled from May 15 to May 31. In such a situation, these dates are crashing with the Lok Sabha elections. On which UGC Chairman Jagdish Kumar has said that, Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) will be conducted between May 15 to May 31, 2024, as earlier announced schedule and there is no change in the exam dates due to Lok Sabha election schedule. There will be no change. The final datesheet will be released after the completion of the registration process on March 26, as the two dates of CUET exam are clashing with the election dates of May 20 and 25.
NEET UG exam
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET UG) is scheduled to be conducted across the country on 5 May 2024. The date of this examination also coincides with the Lok Sabha elections, although till now the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not announced any change in the schedule of NEET UG. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website nta.ac.in regularly.
UPSC Prelims Exam
UPSC Civil Services Prelims exam will be held on May 26, 2024. This date is also clashing with Lokbha elections. However, no information has been shared by UPSC about postponing the exam date.
