Skill courses will be conducted on PPP mode in all engineering colleges including MIT. AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) has given this instruction to the Vice Chancellors of all technical universities. This includes courses ranging from robotics to making batteries for electric vehicles. AICTE has tied up with Tata Education Trust to provide skill courses to students in engineering colleges. Tata Education Trust will provide skill courses to students in all engineering colleges. This course includes courses like Advanced Industrial Automation and Robotics, Industrial Automation Fundamentals, Advanced ARC Welding Technique, Additive Manufacturing, Electric Battery Specialist. Principal of MIT Prof. Mithilesh Kumar Jha told that robotics course is already running in MIT.

Course to teach the nuances of industry

In a letter sent to the Vice Chancellors of technical universities, AICTE has said that this course is being offered to the students of engineering and polytechnic colleges so that they do not face any problem in employment after taking the degree. In this course, all the techniques used in industries will be taught to the students.

Agreement signed under the new education policy

In the new education policy, emphasis has been laid on skill development in engineering colleges and technical institutes. Under this, AICTE has signed an agreement with Tata Education Trust. The objective of this agreement is to train students in skill development at every level. AICTE has asked the Vice Chancellors to motivate more and more students to participate in this course.
