Affiliation fees of private medical, nursing and paramedical colleges will increase

The affiliation fee of private medical, nursing and paramedical colleges of Uttarakhand will range from Rs 50 thousand to one lakh. This proposal was discussed in detail in the 10th Finance Committee meeting of HNB Medical University. The University has formed a committee to determine the rates of annual affiliation, inspection and other related fees. The levy of 18 per cent GST on the fee was also approved. There are 81 colleges affiliated to the University. The minutes of the finance committee meeting have been released on the website by the university.

In this regard Vice Chancellor Prof. Hemchandra Pandey told that the sources of income of the university are limited. Due to this the affiliation fee is being increased. The affiliation fee in other universities is high. The committee will examine all and submit a report. The said report will be placed in the next meeting of the Finance and Executive Committee.

Re-determination of examination fees The amount of examination fees will be divided in the ratio of 7525 between college and university. Earlier it was 4060. The fees for the examinations will be re-determined.
