The entrance examination of 280 children for Atal Residential School located in Koraon, Prayagraj will be held on 25th February. Children of construction workers registered under the Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, who were orphaned during the Corona period, will be given education in Atal Residential School to bring them into the mainstream.
According to Assistant Labor Commissioner Lalaram, for admission in class six, the child should not be born before May 1, 2012 and July 31, 2014, for class nine, the child should not be born after May 1, 2009 and July 31. For admission, you can apply in the offices of District Probation Officer, District Basic Education Officer, Block Education Officer, Block Development Officer and District Labor Department in Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi and Fatehpur from 10 am to 5 pm. The entrance examination will be held in the four districts of Prayagraj division from 11 am to 2 pm.
At present, admission forms are out in Atal Residential Schools in various other districts of the state. In Lakhimpur, 140 children are to be admitted in class six and 140 in class nine in the academic session 2024-25. After applying, the entrance examination of these children will be conducted. Children will be admitted after passing the entrance examination.
In Saharanpur, 280 students will be admitted through the entrance examination for class six and class nine. Here applications have been proposed till 22nd January and entrance examination has been proposed on 20th February.
Let us tell you that the government has started Atal Residential School on the lines of Navodaya for the education of children of registered construction workers. Only children of construction workers registered three years ago will be admitted.
