Aditya's mother Abha Srivastava is a resident of Ranchi and father is originally from Lucknow. The mother said, she is happy that her son has got rank 1, but cannot believe that her son has got rank 1, because it is not easy to get rank 1 in this examination. He told, currently the son is in Hyderabad and will return home on April 22. He has been allotted West Bengal cadre. The mother further said, the son is being eagerly awaited, he will be welcomed warmly.

Mother further said, Aditya was interested in studies since childhood. While preparing for UPSC, he had maintained distance from social media and sports. Let us tell you, Aditya had passed the UPSC CSE examination for the first time in the year 2022 in the second attempt, in which he was selected for the post of IPS. The mother said, when Aditya was selected for the IPS post, he was crying and had not eaten food. Had food after I gave him food and convinced him.

Mother said, UPSC results have come, now the son is waiting. After the arrival of my son, I will take him to many temples of the city including Chandrika Devi.

The family members have a lot of expectations from Aditya, may he succeed in fulfilling all the expectations today. His eight years younger sister gave him a pen and said, 'Brother, this time give me the paper with this pen.'

How Aditya had prepared, this was his study plan

Aditya's father Ajay Kumar said, UPSC CSE is one of the difficult exams, although Aditya did not take the help of any coaching center to prepare for this exam. He has achieved success in this examination on the basis of self study. Let us tell you, Aditya had taken admission in IIT Kanpur by cracking JEE. From where he took his engineering degree.

Let us tell you, Aditya used to study regularly for 10 to 12 hours a day. The father told, his son likes cricket very much, he used to play and watch cricket whenever he got time. Whereas he was completely focused on his preparation, he did not have many friends etc.

The father further said, seeing the hard work of his son, it was expected that his name would be included in the top 50 list, but the son's rank came at 1. What could be more joyful than this?

In the year 2021, Aditya left his job with an annual package of Rs 40 lakh and started preparing for UPSC. First he started preparing for UPAC along with his job, but due to good preparation, he failed in the exam, after which he decided to leave the job and prepare for UPSC CSE exam.
