As compared to the year 2022, the number of houses waiting for buyers by the end of 2023 has reduced by 23 percent to less than 1 lakh units. This is a good news for the real estate sector. This figure has been the lowest in a decade. Besides, Delhi NCR has also defeated the top 7 cities of the country in this matter.

The property sector of Delhi NCR was facing crisis for a long time. According to the report of real estate consultant Anarock, the number of unsold houses has come down to less than one lakh. Recently the Uttar Pradesh government had decided to start house registry. This has brought more enthusiasm among the buyers. According to the report, there has been a surge in the sale of houses. Besides, new projects have also entered the market. This has changed the sentiment of investors. 

94,803 houses still waiting for buyer 

According to the data, by the end of the year 2023, the number of houses without bikes in Delhi NCR will be reduced to 94,803 units. By the end of the year 2022, this figure was 1,23,692 units. This is the lowest figure in a decade. Enrock Vice Chairman Santosh Kumar said that the number of unsold houses has reduced due to more purchases. In the year 2023, home sales in Delhi NCR stood at 65,625 units while around 36,735 new homes were launched in the region.

Builders insisting on completing old projects before launching new ones 

Property developers are now emphasizing on completing old projects and selling houses before launching new ones. At present, the number of unsold houses has reduced compared to Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Currently MMR is waiting for more than 2 lakh home buyers. 

Situation improved in every area of ​​NCR 

According to the data, the number of unsold houses has decreased from 51,312 units to 37,575 units in Gurugram. In Noida this figure has come down from 10,171 units to 8,658 units. Currently, 18,825 units in Greater Noida, 12,546 in Ghaziabad and 17,199 units in Delhi, Bhiwadi and Faridabad are still waiting for buyers.
