Finance Ministry has shared pictures of senior Temasek officials meeting with Finance Minister Sitharaman on social media platform X. In this meeting, Temasek has discussed various types of investment possibilities with the Finance Minister.

The meeting of Temasek officials with the Finance Minister has a lot of significance. The company's 11-member board of directors is on a tour of India. According to Moneycontrol report, Temasek is planning to invest up to $10 billion in India in the next three years. In the last 19 years, the company has invested 1 to 1.5 billion dollars annually in India, which the company wants to increase to three times. 

Temasek team is in India for four days. The Board of Directors will meet with corporate leaders, ministers and senior government officials in Delhi and Mumbai. This year in April 2023, Temasek, making a big investment in India's healthcare sector, has purchased a majority stake in Manipal Hospitals for $ 2 billion. Lim Boon Heng is the chairman of the board of directors of Temasek and Ravi Lamba is the India head of the company.
