Tata Power: With 11% stock jump, Tata Power's market cap crosses Rs 1 lakh crore, Tata's sixth company to join this club.

Tata Power: Among the stock market listed companies of Tata Group, Tata Power has become the sixth company whose market cap has crossed Rs 1 lakh crore. Tata Power's stock has increased by 22 percent in the last one week and by more than 30 percent in the last one month, due to which the market cap of Tata Power has crossed Rs 1 lakh crore. At the end of today's trade, Tata Power shares closed at Rs 325.80 with a jump of 10.76 percent. 

Tata Power is the sixth company of the Tata group whose market cap has crossed Rs 1 lakh crore. After the spectacular rise in the stock of Tata Power, the market cap has come down to Rs 104,104 crore. However, the market cap of IT sector giant Tata Consultancy is Rs 13.23 lakh crore, which is the highest market cap of any Tata group company. 

After TCS comes the turn of Titan whose market cap is around Rs 3.18 lakh crore. And in terms of market cap it is the second largest company of Tata group. Tata Motors also has a market cap of more than Rs 1 lakh crore, close to Rs 2.40 lakh crore and is the third largest company. Tata Steel is in fourth place. The market cap of Tata Steel is Rs 1.60 lakh crore. The market cap of Tata Group's retail company Trent is also Rs 1 lakh crore more at Rs 101,143 crore. Recently, Trent has joined the club of Rs 1 lakh crore market cap. And now Tata Power has also joined the club of Rs 1 lakh crore market cap.   

Let us tell you that Tata Consumer Products, another company of Tata Group, is also on the verge of joining the club of market cap of Rs 1 lakh crore soon. At present the market cap of Tata Consumer Products is Rs 89,000 crore. That means, after 10 percent rise in the stock, this company will also join this club.
