Stock Market Gainers: A big decline has been seen in the Indian stock market. Especially the stocks of banking, energy and government companies have been hit the most. But even amidst this huge fall, there are many shares which have closed with great gains. There has been a huge rise in the stocks of those companies which presented strong financial results in the third quarter. 

There was buying in stocks of pharma and healthcare sector in today's trade. Anyway, whenever the market falls and profit booking increases, investors treat pharma healthcare stocks as defensive stocks. In such a situation, the stock which gained the most is the stock of pharma company Cipla which closed at Rs 1409 with a rise of 7.05 percent. Sun Pharma's stock rose by 3.93 percent and despite this huge fall, it closed at Rs 1378. 

Apart from this, there was a strong rise in the stocks of Bharti Airtel and closed at Rs 1158 with a rise of 3.05 percent. ICICI Bank gained 2.02 percent at Rs 1029, Hero MotoCorp. Stocks of Dr. Reddy, Apollo Hospital, Power Grid, Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Auto also closed in the green.  

Apart from these, the stock of Gujarat Craft Industries closed with a rise of 20 percent, Ascensive by 18.85 percent, Bharat Road Net by 15.17 percent, VR Films by 13.41 percent and Borosil Renewable by 12.78 percent. We Win's stock listed on NSE has closed with a jump of 35 percent. Apart from this, Swilect Energy closed with a rise of 20 per cent and Poddar Housing with a rise of 18.27 per cent.  

Earlier, a big decline was seen in the Indian stock market in Tuesday's trading session. Out of total 4067 stocks, 886 stocks closed in the green while 3049 stocks closed in the fall. The market cap of the market has decreased by Rs 8.41 lakh crore.
