Online travel company MakeMyTrip on Monday claimed that a crowd of people has gathered on its platform to know about Lakshadweep. The company wrote on social media platform X that the curiosity to know about Lakshadweep has suddenly increased among the people. There has been a jump of about 3400 percent in the figures before and after PM Modi's visit to Lakshadweep.

EaseMyTrip had canceled all the bookings 

Online travel company EaseMyTrip has met the Prime Minister of the country Condemning the derogatory remarks towards Narendra Modi, all flight bookings to Maldives were suspended and this information was also given on X.

PM Modi Had shared pictures 

Actually, in the first week of January, Prime Minister Modi visited Lakshadweep and shared some pictures there. After this, discussion started on social media that India is preparing Lakshadweep as an alternative to Maldives. Some leaders of Maldives got angry about this and made objectionable comments about India and PM Modi. Deputy Ministers in the Youth Ministry – Malsha Sharif, Maryam Shiuna and Abdullah Mahjoom Majeed had criticized Prime Minister Modi. He had said that this is an effort to present the Union Territory as an alternative tourist destination to Maldives. He also used some objectionable words. After this, the Maldives government suspended all three.
