Infosys Q2 Results: Infosys’ second quarter results came, earned profit of Rs 6212 crore – gave dividend of Rs 18

Infosys Q2 Results: Infosys, the country’s second largest IT company, has declared its July-September quarter results. In the second quarter of the financial year 2023-24, Infosys has earned a net profit of Rs 6212 crore and its revenue has registered a growth of 7 percent.

Infosys’ profit increased by 3.17 percent

In the July-September quarter, Infosys’ profit has increased by 3.17 percent to Rs 6212 crore on year-on-year basis. Due to this, the company had earned a profit of Rs 6021 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.

7 percent increase in revenue

In the July-September quarter, Infosys’ revenue was Rs 38,994 crore and an increase of 7 percent has been recorded. Apart from this, the EBIT of the company stood at Rs 8274 crore. Apart from this, the EBIT margin of the company has been at 21.2 percent. 

Infosys announced dividend of Rs 18 per share

Infosys today announced its Along with the quarterly results, it has announced a dividend of Rs 18 per share to its investors. If compared to last year, there has been an increase of 9.1 percent in this dividend.

Infosys Growth Forecast – Guidance

Infosys has increased its operating margin. The guidance has been kept between 20 to 22 percent. The company has kept a revenue growth forecast of between 1 percent to 2.5 percent for the entire year. A slight change has been made in this because earlier it was kept between 1 percent to 3.5 percent.

How Infosys shares closed today

Infosys The stock was under pressure today before the results were announced and closed with a decline. The stock closed today with a huge fall of about 3 percent. At the time of closing of the stock market, Infosys shares closed at Rs 1,452.30 with a fall of Rs 42.10 or 2.82 percent. However, due to today’s results being close to the market’s estimates, its shares may see a good opening trade tomorrow.
