Special arrangements at the station

Point has been set. The concourse area is covered with digital boards of 40-60 inches. Braille navigation maps and sign language videos are provided at the station’s main entrance to assist the disabled.

Step taken on practical basis

According to Chennai Railway Division, the PA system will continue for suburban trains. However, this step has been taken on a practical basis. No audio will be played on this station even in commercials. Passenger information centers operated by railway staff will guide the passengers. In the order, the officials were asked to ensure that all visual display boards should be in working condition. Based on the experience of railway passengers, several additional improvements have been made in these facilities. As part of the redevelopment of the station, large display boards will be installed at the entry point. Inquiry counters will also be increased.
