Demonstration at Jantar Mantar

Residents of Greater Noida West staged a huge protest at Jantar Mantar. Thousands of home buyers reached here by buses and cars. Then they took out a rally and went to the protest site. There was a lot of anger among the people regarding the lack of registration, the arbitrariness of the IRP, the stalled projects and the delay in the metro project. People raised slogans and appealed to the government to fulfill the promise."text-align: justify;">The protest has been going on for one year

NEFOWA President Abhishek Kumar told that we were protesting against Ekmurti for a year. We have come to Jantar Mantar under compulsion. After all, what is the compulsion that even after so many protests, our demands are being ignored? Now the scope of our peaceful movement will increase further. The way people are coming out to support us is unprecedented. We feel sad that even for basic facilities like housing and metro, we had to come to Jantar Mantar to protest.

Government is disappointing

People who participated in the movement said that the government is disappointing. We are continuously expressing our views peacefully. But, only false promises are being received. No action is being taken. Everyone said that we are disappointed. But, do not despair and will continue the struggle. People of Greater Noida West join the protests every week. Thousands of people involved in the movement took an oath that unitedly they will continue the struggle for the registry, the construction of the stalled project and the metro.
